Create Modules
Modules allow you to organize your content to help control the flow of your course.
To create a module, go to the desired course and click on Modules.
Then click on the +Module button.
Give the Module a name and assign any module requirements you wish. Then click on Add Module. Make sure that the circle icon next to the Module is green if you wish to publish it.
To add items to a Module, click on the + sign under the Module.
Choose which item to add. You can select an assignment, content page, etc. that you've already created or you can click on the desired item and choose New Item (1) to start from scratch.
If choosing a new item, give it a name (2) and then click on Add Item. You should see a placeholder for this item appear in your Modules. Click on this item and choose Edit to add content to it.
Any assignments, quizzes, discussions, pages, etc. that you add under modules will automatically be added to their respective sections.
You can copy or duplicate Module items by going to Modules, clicking on the Gear icon next to the item you wish to copy, and selecting "Duplicate". The duplicated item will have the word “Copy” added to the end of the title and will default to being unpublished. You can edit the item's title by clicking on the Gear icon next to it and choosing "Edit".
